An eruption has started north of Grindavík. Grindavík and surrounding area is on emergency phase and has been evacuated.
Police commands: The town of Grindavík, the area around and roads in the area will remain CLOSED. Hiking in the area is prohibited. Respect the commands, closures and stay away from the area.
