Belgium 🇧🇪 with Strangebird in July!

We’re excited to announce a special opportunity to join Strangebird on a trip to Belgium from July 10 to 18, 2025!

Micah Krichinsky (Founder, Brewer) and Eric Salazar (Director of Wood Aged Beers), along with Happy Sherpa Travel, will be your guides as you visit breweries, including St.Bernardus, Brasserie Dupont, Brasserie Cantillon, and Westvleteren.

In addition, we’re planning a special trip to Brasserie Thiriez, where we’ll meet Micah and Eric after they brew a collab with the world-renowned brewery.

During the trip, we’ll also have time to explore Bruges, Ypres, and Brussels.

It wouldn’t be a scouting trip if we didn’t hit some breweries! Many thanks to Jan and Rene at for letting us take a look around during off-hours, and Braam at in Hermanus. Fantastic people executing excellent beers on the West Coast of RSA. Thanks for the hospitality and we will bring friends (and beer) next time!

Nick and Filip concocted our first collaboration! Cold as Buffalo a Cold Pale Ale is refreshing and a delight. A year in making, we were finally able to make the journey that bring these two fantastic breweries together. Many many thanks to Filip at Pivovar Raven for the hospitality. We had a blast! Looking forward to Cold as Pilsen on our side of the pond soon.

"TAILGATE" V PRAZE PŘED ZÁPASY!!!

Tady dávám informace pro ty, kteří, nejsou součástí naší skupiny co jde do kotle:

Co se týče místa, zohledňoval jsem několik věcí - dobré pivo (jsem sobec, sorry), blízkost arény a dostatečný prostor.

Ze všeho nám vyšlo nejlépe místo s názvem Park Podviňák ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/k4KNswEHf8eBugbYA )

Od o2 arény to je do 10 minut chůze. Mají tam tankovou Plzeň. Do vnitřních prostor se vejde cca 60 lidí, další mohou ven a pod stříšky (to bych preferoval, když bude počasí.) Teď o víkendu se tam nahrnulo 350 fanoušků Székesfehérváru, takže věřím, že když nás bude 50-100 zvládneme to v pohodě ;) Co se týče jídla, nějaké tam samozřejmě bude k dispozici. čím příjdete dříve,, tím spíše to půjde. Samozřejmě když tam bude 100 lidí, tak už nebudou stíhat.

Jak časově? V pátek bychom začali ve 14:30, odchod k aréně bychom zahájili mezi 17:15 a 17:30.
V sobotu bychom začali 11:30. Odchod k aréně by byl 14:15-14:30.
