Went to the Model Home today with my staging buddy Katheen Emhof of Transitions Home Staging & Redesign and hung the artwork. The workers were hanging the chandaliers which are absolutely beautiful. Getting Your Home Ready To Sell Tips:

# 7.-Office work area – at least 50 percent of your desk’s surface should be visible when it’s not being used.
#8.-Buy stackable trays and use only for items that require action either immediately or in the near future.
#10.-Use drawer organizers for pens, pencils, paperclips, post-it notes, staples etc.
If you can manage to apply these three guidelines to your life on a daily basis de-cluttering will become an easy task. Make it a part of your routine, everything has a home, don’t procrastinate.

Tip #5 Kitchen -If selling your house, appliances should be kept out of sight. Keeping the counters clear will make your kitchen appear much cleaner and bigger.
Tip #6 Living Room – the entertainment center – remote controls should all be kept together perhaps in a small basket. Arrange loose cords so they are not visible.

What motivates you to clean up your office? Well, yesterday I couldn't find a statement from the hospital and yes you guessed it I went through the office and cleaned the desk and side bar up. But didn't find the statement because my husband had it in his desl drawer. Oh well I can see the top of my desk again. lol

Spent the morning shopping for a redesign project on Grand Island. Found some great accessories at Pier 1 and then on to Penny's for some pretty pillows. Tomrrow I need to find swags to go on the windows. Redesign is such fun - I love what I do!
