I wanted to list a few little tidbit things that I have recently shared with a few people who have never cruised Disney that they were truly in awe of....

* If you have littles and they are sleeping on either the turn down couch or the bunk from the ceiling, you can request that character sheets be used by your stateroom host.
*The entrance to the kids clubs have them wash their hands prior to playing... go look up a video of these hand washing stations... absolutely so cool!
*Drink of the Day. Each day DCL has 2 drinks of the day.. one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic. Both are super reasonably priced as well.
*If a Disney movie debuts while you are on the ship, they will do multiple showings of that movie and sometimes even a midnight premier.
*You can bring a popcorn bucket from the parks and receive a popcorn refill discount for the shows!
*Disney uses rotational dining and your serving team follows you to each restaurant. So they get to know you and ensure that your dietary needs are met and even have super fun surprises and games to share with you.

THIS IS THE DISNEY DIFFERENCE! Yes its "more expensive". But to experience the amazing entertainment and service that you've come to know at the parks and to see the magic in your children's eyes... its totally worth it. 🥰

Did you know that when you book any Disney Vacation there is a built-in amount of money that is reserved for paying a travel agent even if you don't use one?

Disney knows that families are more likely to be happier with planning and having questions answered by using a travel agent. This results in families having a better vacation and looking to return.
Anything who knows anything about sales and marketing can vouch that Disney wants you to use a travel agent.

So, its free... and you most likely get a better experience? So why havent you tried to use one yet?

One of the most common things I hear is... "I like to be in control and plan my own vacation." Cool. Did you know that we can have a discussion over what services you want me to handle for you? You want to book your own dining but you want me to set up your MEARS transportation? Sounds great!

One of the most common mistakes I see people making is waiting to book a Disney vacation until a promo releases. This is a mistake only because when you use me as a travel agent, I monitor promos as they drop and I apply them after the fact.

Take this week for example. I had two family's whose reservations fell into the timeframes of the new promos. I reached out the night before and let them know what was happening and then bright and early on promo drop day (6am to be exact), I was up and immediately seeing how I could save them or get them a better option.

So lets see what I did for my clients this week.... moved the first client from a standard all-star sports room into a preferred and still save them approximately 30 dollars! This means they are closer to the food, transportation, and all the action without having to spend a penny extra.

The second client is booked in a One Bedroom DVC Cabin at Fort Wilderness. By applying the promotion that released I instantly saved them ALMOST $1000. However, we discussed and decided to change them from 4 day base tickets (1 park per day) to 4 day Park hoppers (multiple parks per day) to benefit her older kiddos. With the promo and adding on the park hopper, she still saved almost $500 off the price she booked for!!!!! Holy Smokes!

As 2024 comes to a close, I reflect on my first full year as a travel agent. Honestly, I've never felt more passionately about a job. Helping people plan vacations that will provide them and their children with memories for years to come is my personal paradise.

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽 I am so thankful and grateful to be able to give the gift of magic to families.
