POLAR PLUNGE NEEDS MORE JUMPERS!

If you're a plunger - it's time to register! We are a little behind our norm this year with only 153 jumpers and $12,000 of the $80,000 goal raised. Is it calling your name to raise funds for the Special Olympics? Go to https://www.plungemn.org/events/buffalo/ Registration is free with a minimum fundraising goal of $75. They have cool apparel items and more for exceeding the goal level.

This event has been going on in Minnesota since 1973! Let's show up full force in Buffalo!

I have to say- I have one of the best jobs!! I get to plan and implement some pretty cool events for my home town! Of course none of these events can happen without some pretty awesome volunteers and family!! ( Not all pictured here)

Still time....

We did our official ice measurement with the Wright County Sheriff this morning. It was a comical morning, but we still measure at 22 inches!! Some are worried about the possible snow we are to get. Our kites say, they will be there, with the wind we will get the kites up and do what we can. We can't control the weather. There are other great activities to come and check out, dog sleds, dojo, legacy, boy scouts, corn home, pond hockey, food vendors and more!

We went out yesterday to measure the ice again. What do you think we have??? You'll have to watch and listen to find out. Kites on Ice in next Saturday, February 8th, 11-3. On the ice- so wear your ice pick shoes if you have them. It's icy out there, dress warm. Check out our free activities, but bring some cash for warm drinks and food vendors!

It's only a little over a week away!! Dress the kids up and come out to see the beautiful kites. We have over 20 kiters coming. Don't forget to bring some cash to grab a warm drink or food!
