Today Omega celebrates its 52nd year in business! Omega first opened its doors as an independent storefront travel agency with one employee in the sleepy Civil War city of Fredericksburg, VA. After Gloria Bohan’s honeymoon cruise convinced her to take a chance on a career in travel, she founded Omega and its two sister companies: TravTech and Cruise.com. New Yorkers Gloria and her husband Dan selected rural Virginia for its underserved travel agency market. In 2024, Omega now has offices in key U.S. cities, an international regional office in London, and strategic locations worldwide.
