The Gentlemen Guide, or TGGP, is geared towards developing and assisting young men in the community. With the help of local businesses we will connect our mentees to resources provided by our partners. We would like reward all male African-American entrepreneurs, change-makers, and those who are positively impacting our community. TGGP is buffalo's first independent program designed solely for the

betterment and enhancement of adolescent African-American boys. Our intent is to ingrain the behavior and mindset of being a gentleman into inner-city boys through mentoring and guidance. A gentleman is any man of good, courteous conduct; one that not only takes care of his responsibilities, but goes above and beyond what’s expected. Some young men grow up without an environment conducive to attain the knowledge and the exposure necessary to learning how to be a presentable and productive member of society. So our “Gentlemen Mentors” will be skillful individuals that will take a mentee in and help them live life with a high standard of propriety, poise behavior, and morale; while learning a new skill
