Shayna Sherwood and Nickole Doro are skilled casting directors, with extensive experience in TV, Film, and Digital, both in comedy and drama. ld. When many casting directors scoffed at auditioning YouTubers or casting for digital platforms, Nickole and Shayna embraced the change and jumped right in! With their extensive knowledge of Social Media Influencers, and abundant database of traditional actors, Doro/Sherwood has become a leading casting office for all forms of content. In 2016 they cast the first ever feature film shot entirely via the Snapchat App and were recently nominated for their first Casting Society of America’s Artios Award, for best casting of a short form series (“Party Girl” on Freeform Digital). Nickole and Shayna pride themselves as being an extremely warm and friendly office. They try to create a comfortable environment where the actor can leave feeling proud of their performance, while hopefully learning something new along the way.
