Whether you want to go on an adventure with up to 10 people or a private romantic balloon ride for two, we guarantee your flight will be memorable. Seattle Balloonings’ hot air balloon rides are fantastic for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, weddings, and special occasions. Seattle Ballooning offers two daily flights. One hot air balloon ride at sunrise and another at sunset. Although there are times during the Seattle winter where it's possible to go flying, the main season is from April through Mid-October. For those interested in the awe-inspiring experience of flying in a hot air balloon festival, you can join us for The Balloon Roundup in Winthrop Washington, the Prosser Hot Air Balloon Festival and our own Walla Walla Balloon Festival! We also provide tether rides and put on many hot air balloon glows in the Seattle area. We have guests come from all over the Puget Sound and U.S. to experience flying directly in front of Mt. Seattle Ballooning’s launch locations are just 35 minutes south of Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland, as well as only 30 minutes south of Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, or S**o. Inflated our hot air balloon for a few hundred kids at Gregory Heights Elementary. The kids learned about hot air balloon history, how balloons work, and got all their questions answered! Lots of fun!

A real pop up… we are doing a hot air balloon inflation back of the Hyatt in Renton on the back dock against Lake Washington today and tomorrow 3:30-4:20. This is the balloon that one of Seattle Ballooning’s pilot flew at the world championship. We had two participate! The Pilot (Eliav) will be there to answer questions too! Grab a coffee at the Hyatt or some food at Water’s Table and get some epic photos of the balloon!

This was surprising challenging! Happy National Espresso Day from a hot air balloon. You’d be surprised how challenging it is to make espresso at 5k feet. The challenge is that espresso machines take a massive amount of energy to work. Our solution? A 2200 Watt hour battery that weighs 90lbs. It was epic. Should we do this more often for sunrise flights??
