As we say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A., 🥺 our hearts are flooded with memories of the adventures we’ve shared in this unique corner of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. 🐾

One unforgettable moment was last November, when we braved a torrential downpour and rope-dropped Animal Kingdom to do a few things before they were forever lost to time. 🦴 Our family was very determined to ride DINOSAUR 🦖 and meet Chip and Dale 💙💚 in their adorable dino onesies at Donald’s Dino-Bash! one last time. Dale was the absolute sweetest (and maybe even my favorite. Shh — don’t tell Chip). We couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of our very wet, soggy selves to say the least! 🤪 Truth be told, this has become one of my most memorable rainy day experiences at Walt Disney World to date.

DinoLand U.S.A. will always hold a special place in our hearts. Julian loved exploring the Cretaceous Trail with his Wilderness Explorers Guide in hand, marveling at the kitschy charm and quirky merchandise of Dinosaur Treasures, and Julian’s lifelong dream to win one of the iconic plush prizes from Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama! — sadly, no matter how hard we tried, we were never able to bring one home. 🎡🎟️

So, here’s to the memories that will never go extinct. ♥️🦖

❤️ Muppet*Vision 3D has been a core memory for our family since 2020 and a staple of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (MGM Studios) since it debuted on May 16, 1991. As one of the final projects Jim Henson worked on before his passing, this show has stood the test of time with its quirky blend of 3D animation, live-action elements, in-theater effects, humorous antics, and balcony appearances by old grumps, Statler and Waldorf.

🧡 This attraction was originally located in Muppets Courtyard, which was re-themed to Grand Avenue in 2017, but despite the name change, Muppet*Vision 3D continued to be a beloved centerpiece for Muppet fans everywhere!

💛 Famous landmarks include the iconic Miss Piggy fountain, the “IT’S RAT PIZZA” sign, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano — a charming Italian-American eatery featuring a backstory that blends classic Sicilian recipes with California flair, a combination even Frank Sinatra would love.

💚 One particularly magical spot was the Stage 1 Company Store, which once sold Muppet and Sesame Street merchandise. This store was filled floor-to-ceiling with hidden props and set pieces celebrating Muppet history, but unfortunately, it never reopened after the pandemic.

💙 For over three decades, Muppet*Vision 3D has captured the hearts of guests with its humor, charm, and Muppet-inspired creativity. Now, as Disney Imagineers prepare to make way for a Monsters, Inc.-themed land, it feels like the end of an era and a heartbreaking goodbye to a piece of our own family’s history.

🚧 Construction is set to begin soon, with progress walls being installed in the area before the end of March.

🍝 Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will serve its final guests on May 10, 2025, as the transformation progresses.

⏰ Disney’s Hollywood Studios will kick off a five-month grand finale, giving fans a chance to celebrate and say goodbye to this beloved area before the curtain call on June 7, 2025.

💜 Our family is hoping they put Sam the Eagle in charge of the closing ceremonies!! HEHE 🤭🇺🇸🎆🔥🚒

As an Xennial, I deeply resonate with the themes that have led so many of us to embrace being Disney Adults. We grew up in an era that emphasized responsibility, where we were expected to hustle, grind, and prove ourselves. We adapted to the digital revolution but remember life before it. We’ve endured recessions, student debt, burnout, and a world that often feels like it demands more than it gives. And yet, in all the noise, we crave something simple—comfort, nostalgia, and a place where we can breathe and feel connected. For me, that place is Walt Disney World. It’s where I get to unplug from the world and just be.

My journey into travel planning was born from this passion. I wanted others to see that Disney isn’t just for kids—it’s for anyone who craves magic, wonder, and belonging. I wanted to show families how they can make memories on a budget, that these moments together aren’t just for their kids but for them too. When clients book with me, they’re not just planning a vacation—they’re investing in their own core memories. And every trip I help plan allows my own family to return to The Most Magical Place on Earth, where we continue our traditions of searching for Hidden Mickeys, shopping at Mitsukoshi in EPCOT, and savoring every Dole Whip, churro, and bucket of popcorn we can find.

Being a Disney Adult isn’t about refusing to grow up; it’s about reclaiming joy and embracing wonder. It’s about allowing ourselves to play and holding onto the magic that shaped us. It’s about remembering that even in a world that demands sedulousness, we deserve moments of pure, unfiltered happiness. And for me, that happiness is Mickey-shaped.

This milestone marked everything I had been through, everything I had built, and everything I wanted to celebrate. It’s my Happy Place and my family’s Happy Place. So here’s to 40 years, to the memories made, and the ones still to come!

Art that literally blooms beyond the canvas! 🌸🎨🌼

Texture, color, and storytelling intertwine in, The Language of Flowers. A mesmerizing collection where florals are more than just still lifes. crafts each petal delicately, thoughtfully blending paint, embroidery, and sketch to create something truly enchanting.

I had the joy of exploring this exhibit today at The Art League with an invitation from my dad (a close friend of the artist). 💛 My favorite piece!? “April / Peonies for Bravery” — a stunning fusion of softness and strength, where every detail whispers ‘new beginnings’. 🌿🧵 (Also pictured is “August / Zinnias for Remembering” — a rather cozy piece with quilted memories.)
