Memorial weekend was a pretty good weekend. We started out Friday morning with Benji & Cathy Rogers catching a mess of fish. Friday evening with the grandkids catching some nice fish.Then Saturday morning was Ken Terry & Dorthy Terry and Tommie & Anita Jackson their grandson Connor Jackson with a mess of fish. Saturday evening was Amy and Chris Rachal. Then Sunday was Grahm Neve & Beth Neve & daughter Raven a mess of fish.
All the fish were caught on shiners 15’ down over brush piles.

Not a bad day on the lake

A short Sunday morning trip with these 2 young men before they had to head home. Carter and Cole Neild had a good morning hollering pawpaw get the net. They caught all there fish on shiners 12’ under slip cork.

Saturday we had a small family Grahm, Beth and Raven out for a half day trip. The goal was to catch some fish and have the 5 year old girl Raven catch her first fish. Well Raven caught her first fish and more after she woke up from her long nap. If you were out on the south end of Toledo Bend Saturday morning you probably heard her excitement scream when she would catch fish. Raven enjoyed eating her catch as well. We would also like to Thank Grahm for his 20+ years of service in the military. It was a great pleasure having you and your family on our boat. Thank you for choosing On The Bend Adventures

The crappie bite has been good some days and better some days here on the south end of Toledo Bend.
Here are a couple of last minute trips that came up in the past week or 2. We may not have caught a limit but I think they had a great time the smiles say it all.
