Charming , CA is an off-the-beaten path Bay Area gem that is oh-so-worth a visit. Stroll around the small town, shop for curated gifts at , and have lunch at Duarte’s Tavern - country cooking with a Portuguese influence since 1894. Don’t skip on the olalliberry pie for dessert, trust us. Then, head to to pick up specialty groceries like olive oil, jams, and some of their famous artichoke garlic bread - people drive from far and wide to get their hands on a loaf.

Traveling to/from for the holidays? ✈️Here are some tips:
- Reserve your ride to the airport in advance (use Lyft or Uber’s “schedule ride” feature).
- Download the airline’s app and sign up for text alerts.
- Get to the airport at least 2 hours early for domestic flights, especially if you plan to check bags.
- Ship gifts ahead of time or pack small gifts in your carry-on: this helps save room in your suitcase and may give you the option to avoid checking a bag
- Bring portable chargers for your phone and other devices – airport outlets are a hot commodity!

Today, we honor Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to recognize and honor the deep connection between Native peoples and their ancestral lands.

In particular, we acknowledge the Ramaytush Ohlone, the original peoples of the San Francisco Peninsula. Their deep connection to this land reminds us of the importance of preserving and respecting Indigenous cultures and histories.

Here are three places to visit where you can learn more about the Ohlone and their heritage:

• Filoli Interpretive Center, Woodside
• San Mateo County History Museum, Redwood City
• Sanchez Adobe, Pacifica
