For the past 3 years we’ve loved sharing our little cabin to great people who appreciate nature and the area we are located in. Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to fight off the ignorance and greed of the communities we reside in and we will no longer open our doors to guests in 2022. It’s been so much fun and we loved that we could bring people to the area to discover the beautiful trails and wildlife and help with the tourism industry. Maybe one day the locals will understand the importance and benefits of having a well run Airbnb industry instead of listening to negative hearsay.

Before and after living room. The original brick fire place didn’t have chimney and was boarded up. We’d planned to restore it but the costs started adding up. After some research we discovered that a wood stove would be more efficient and cost effective. In the end it worked out for the best. This little fire stove heats up our whole cabin with no worries and it looks amazing! Airbnb link in bio.

Bruce the Bucks head. I purchased this guy from a lady in Williamsburg. She was moving and didn’t have the wall space for him. I had been looking for a long time for one of these for our cabin but they are very expensive. I got Bruce for $150! which was a steal! Bruce was the name she had given him so we’ve just kept it. Anyway, he looks great on our wall at Gold Finch Cabin.
