Hey friend’s…some of you climbed this with me! How about a PA connection👏🏻👏🏻!?!

Did you know? The gorgeous spiral staircase in the St. Augustine Lighthouse tower is built with iron from Pennsylvania! If you look very closely, you will find small numbers and letters on the staircase.

The iron staircase arrived in 1873 at the Lighthouse in parts and was assembled on site. To make sure the construction workers put the staircase together properly, each part had a number or letter imprinted on it.
