Christmas carrolers Philippines style!! Midnight Christmas eve is greeted with fireworks and occasional gun fire!! In American style, I gave the singers a nice tip.....so they reappeared 2 more times, and showed up at my hotel room next day!! A land where cash is truly King!! Merry Christmas to all from 84 degrees with ocean at 78 today. Butler will look good in spring!!

Love PA but hate winter!!.....4 months in Philippines...now at south end of Cebu island in a province with no foreigners...80degree ocean 20yds from door...hooked up with locals I met for a night of jamming/,karaoke in a very poor home. Some of the most fun loving people on earth, and EVERYONE sings....whether they should or not....old electric guitar and drums made of recycled metal!! Be a traveler....not a tourist!! Still selling discount Christmas flight certificates online!! Dig deep and buy me bbq pig for New Years!! Thanks for all the support from so many great passengers in 2024!! Flying neighbors is a whole new experience after over 50000 tourists from mixed locations. I love PA and all it's kind people!!

We did a one off sunset flight as it was only way to accommodate this Leonardo Di Caprio stunt doubles engagement proposal. I bought a dozen 🌹 roses for him to present during landing champagne 🍾 celebration. High School sweethearts who went the distance. He totally surprised her saying this was her birthday gift!! It was an honor to share their special moment.

This morning, same as all flights since the temps dropped, visibilities are incredible...could see all the tall buildings of Pittsburgh, and past to the Ohiopyle!!! 90 miles!!

Fall colors are happening!! Magic flight yesterday including a splash and dash on the surface of Lake Arthur as we covered 20 miles on my birthday. Landed on a farmer named Ike's field to discover it was also HIS birthday!! The sunrise just after takeoff was SPECTACULAR!!! Many openings on weekdays...weekends for Oct are full.

After over 5000 flights in 5 countries, there aren't many flights with a "first time" experience for me. Today, we flew across the east end of Lake Arthur ending up on a remote farm nestled in the forest. It had been a great time with 5 exceptionally fun guests. Crew arrived and knocked on the farmers door to get permission. She drove out in her small 4x4 to where we landed. As she got out and walked towards us, one of my passengers walked towards her...they each broke in a big smile and hugged each other. They have been friends since grammer school!! Each flight is unique and one never knows what to expect when landing on private property....but every single landing here in Butler has been welcomed with a smile, and kindness from our local hard working farmers!! I may be a recent transplant, but I've fallen in love with the people of PA. My kind of people!!
