It looks like we will be blessed with another fruitful fall - grapes, plums, apples, and blackberries!

The meadow is currently covered in daisies and so peaceful! The Monarchs are slowly moving in as our milkweed is just beginning to show signs of blooming. Once they bloom, it is Monarch and caterpillar center!

🦋 Summer is upon us and so are the insects!

🦋 The Barn is a proud Monarch Waystation and we are surrounded by a lush meadow of milkweed, goldenrod, yarrow, and wild oregano. We do not spray for mosquitoes, ticks, or any sort of insect and encourage our guests to bring along bug spray for comfort. It is important to do a thorough tick check on yourself and your companions after adventuring outdoors.

🦋 We have 30 acres and trails for you to enjoy and we encourage our guests to get out in nature!

The Summer Season is starting to book!

We are close to Lake Owen & Perry Lake.

Only a short bike to the CAMBA Cable Cluster and the Trek Trails Powered by OTM at Mt. Telemark Village.

If you are into road biking then our location is a fabulous jumping off point!

We have 30 acres of land with our own trail system and a field of wild oregano. We even set up a badminton court in the oregano meadow!

Enjoy relaxing in a hammock or having a campfire at the end of the day - the options are endless!

Another animal friend you may meet is:

Bean Jean!

She is a black lab and dachshund mix! Bean is turning 10 years old next month and is a puppy at heart. She is a social dog and loves meeting other dogs. She loves going on hikes, playing fetch or tug-o-war, and during the warmer months she is outside all day long enjoying life.

The Barn & Mama Meadows is a Monarch Waystation and proud of it!

During the summer months you will find our meadow filled with milkweed, goldenrod, and wild oregano to name a few. We have all types of butterflies and moths that visit us.

There is also a beautiful garden that the original owners planted; poppies, lupines, wild roses, and lilacs.

During the spring time there are a variety of fruit trees sweetening the air with their blossoms; apple, plum, pear, and cherry.

There are trails to explore and plenty of space to take in the sun and relax.

Every season is a different adventure in the Northwoods. Come stay and play for a bit!
