This is Route 1A in Mars Hill, reports are that I-95 is passable.

This is your friendly reminder to travel with more fuel than you think you’ll need, extra warm clothing items, tools for gaining traction (ie kitty litter, rock salt, chains) and let people know which route you’ll be taking. A failure to plan is a plan to fail. 🌲

UPDATE: Route 1A north of Mars Hill is being re-opened to traffic. Please bear in mind with how much snow is in the area with the high winds, snow drifts are likely to continue. Stay safe, drive carefully!

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT 🚧

Rte. 1A from Mars Hill and north is currently closed to all traffic due to hazardous road conditions. Much of the road is covered in snow, as pictured here in Easton. For those who live in Aroostook County, please avoid Rte. 1A in this area, and prepare a different route to your destinations.
