It’s been a busy travel day already: paid off a Disney trip for an amazing family, got updates from clients who did Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party last night, & am pricing cruises for another family, all while decorating for Fall & getting ready for the Dawgs!!
Fall Break and Thanksgiving week are GREAT weeks to vacation! Where do you want to go?!? Trips are also excellent Christmas gifts & if you’re like us & have a Senior, it’s time to plan Senior Trip! Let’s plan to make some memories!!!

Pricing holiday trips for Universal & Disney today. Universal has a package bundle that ends up being 20% off with another $50 off for doing a package. That is RARE for any holiday!! Universal’s site can be confusing when booking yourself. Let me help at no extra cost/fees/charges.
Also, I just got a cruise report from a family with an autistic child. The child is OBSESSED with cruising, and after researching, it seems many autistic children do great on cruises because of the routine. That is such valuable information to know for families who have children with special needs.

Thinking about Fall Break?!? We HIGHLY suggest Disney in October! New York in the Fall sounds lovely, too. Deron & I are headed to the Caribbean. I’ve got clients headed out west. Think trip insurance is a waste? So did I until I learned more about it. I’ll never travel internationally without it again.
Example: you booked an August cruise and whoop—a hurricane forms. Not only does insurance protect for cancellations, it also protects in case of baggage loss, delays, provides thousands in medical protection, and really covers every aspect of your trip. For a trip that costs appx $7000, insurance with $50k of emergency medical evacuation (quoted today) costs about $275.
You can purchase insurance from me whether you booked your trip with me or not. I will price 2 different trip insurance vendors to look for the best rate.
You can find AMAZING deals on trips during hurricane season, but it’s always best to prepare for the “what if.” Deron & I are cruising on Fall Break. Insurance was about $75.

CRUISERS!!! Don’t sleep on the DEALS you can get on jewelry, perfume, & bottles of alcohol during your cruise. I bought this London Blue Topaz & Diamond ring on our last trip. All ships are duty free & tax free, & on jewelry, you can negotiate. I got an UNBELIEVABLE deal on this ring. It looks (and was) expensive, but after negotiating I paid less than 1/2 the original asking price. If alcohol is your thing, some days you can find BOGO deals on full size bottles. Charlie got men’s cologne for less than retail price in stores in the US!!

I’ve been working on travel quotes for 2 hours & WOW at the FALL BREAK cruise prices! (We’re talking less than $1000 for 2 people in an interior room)—and remember cruises include unlimited food!
With the price of groceries it might be cheaper to cruise for 5 days than have teenagers at home eating all day🤣

Think you don't need a travel agent?? There are so many reasons we are here to help you, but I've never believed so more than today.
A family heading to Disney TOMORROW has had a major medical emergency. They do not have time to deal with being on the computer or phone. I have already successfully moved their resort dates to 2025, and have been on hold for almost 15 minutes to get ticket dates changed.
Agents do the dirty work for you, and in cases like this, it saves you time and stress. I am more than happy to help this family, and I know it's saving them undue stress.
Agents can often work magic that otherwise could not be worked. It's not just with Disney, I will do this for ANY trip. **also a plug for travel insurance and why it's SO important!
My price is free/nada/$0 and my work is invaluable in cases like this. I add $0 to your trip, but take away stress. I've been on hold for 15 minutes and will stay on hold as long as needed.

CRUISERS!!! Don’t be afraid of the casino. We are not frequent gamblers & just go in with a $20 or so & always have a set limit. Today, Deron got a casino offer for a FREE CRUISE! When I say we don’t spend much, I honestly stop after I win or lose $20. It is absolutely worth it to go click the slots a few times. We checked the dates & found 3 that match our Fall Break. We had to enter all 3 options & will know within 48 hours if we got our choices. At MOST we will have to pay $170pp in fees & taxes. We ❤️ cruising for so many reasons, but a free trip—yes please!!
As your travel agent, I can always log into your account and see what promos or offers you have. Sometimes you may be shocked at how cheap you can cruise!! I can do that for any cruise line!
P.S. the offer was only for 2 people so sorry kids, you’re on dog duty😉

Travel insurance!!! Will you ever need it? Probably not. But…what if you do?
Travel insurance is dirt cheap & can protect you from almost any possible “bad” thing from lost luggage to injuries to covering being helicoptered out of a remote location. I always share my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE so here’s my 2 cents on travel insurance. I took EK on Spring Break—just the 2 of us. God forbid anything happening to us, but in case I had added travel insurance for $100 & some change. If she’d broken a leg or I had a heart attack, our medical expenses to get back to the US were covered.
Travel insurance is for US & international trips & in some cases can save you thousands & thousands of $. Some policies also include cancel for any reason.
I can help you navigate insurance even if you purchased your trip on your own.
The hurricane hitting Jamaica has me thinking how to best help clients. Insurance is so inexpensive & so worth it!

Want to go west? Each of these pictures is from Arizona: Sedona, Flagstaff, & the Grand Canyon. I’ve got clients heading here in a few months. You can stay in a central location & take day trips to the sites. A week in AZ (including flights & rental car) is less than a week at Disney, & similarly priced to week-long cruises. It’s never really been on my bucket list until I researched for these clients. I’ve added Arizona to my list of must-dos.

CRUISE LOVERS: if you’re able to cruise in December (before Christmas week) you can get UNBELIEVABLE deals on any cruise line. I just priced December for a client & wow!!! I can book all the way out to early 2026. Dec is definitely warm enough—to be honest, Dec & Feb are my fav months to cruise.
Cruising is great because once the deposit is paid, you can make payments however you like. (Here’s a little inspiration from EK & me at CocoCay—Royal’s private island)

We’re on our last sea day & headed back to Cape Liberty. Bermuda has been a bucket list item for Deron & me since we started exploring the world. This trip has been a 12/10 in every way. Cruising is just as affordable (if not cheaper) than a week in Florida or the Carolinas. Please let me know if I can help plan a memory-making trip for your family. This is the best family trip we’ve ever had (& that’s coming from Disney & cruise addicts).
