We want to thank Collin Cash, Tourism Manager with the City of Villa Rica for hosting the member meeting today. We had a great lunch at Los Cowboys and toured the downtown district on our way to lunch. It was so good to see everyone for the first meeting of the New Year.

We want to thank the Alliance for Dade for hosting today’s meeting for the NWGA Travel Association. We met at the Venue at Wildwood - it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Wonderful food catered by Uncle Lar’s Outpost. Also, thank you to Sandy White, President & CEO for the Alliance for Dade for sharing about their fun Elf promotion. Also thanks to George Williams for such a warm welcome. After the meeting, we went to Rosie Mae’s Alpaca Farm - so fun to see those cute Alpacas.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We will see you January 8, 2025 in Villa Rica, GA. Members please make plans to attend. See you there!

We want to give a BIG THANKS to Explore Calhoun/Gordon County for hosting todays meeting for the Travel Association. Kathy Johnson talked to us about the history of the Calhoun and Jill Repp talked about the snowman spectacular and showed a short video. Lacey gave a us a walking tour of downtown and we stopped by the Gem Theater.

Next month will be in Trenton, GA on December 11, 2024. Members please make plans to attend. See you there!

We want to give a BIG THANKS to Gibbs Gardens for hosting yesterday’s meeting for the Travel Association. Leslie talked to us about the history of the gardens and Carol talked about the upcoming color change. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and we hope you get a chance to experience the gardens for yourself and make wonderful memories.

We want to give a BIG THANKS to Historic Cave Spring Georgia for hosting today’s meeting for the Travel Association. Marley took us to the cave and on a walking tour of downtown. There’s so much history here and a lot of amazing shops.

Next month will be the Georgia Governor's Tourism Conference in Atlanta on September 15-17. Members please make plans to register for this. See you there!

We want to give a big Thank You to Murray County Chamber of Commerce for hosting todays meeting for the Travel Association. We had a great crowd to join us today. Barry and his wonderful staff took us on a walking tour of downtown Chatsworth so we could see the revitalization of their downtown district. We got to experience their unique shops like the Red Eyed Rooster Co. Next months meeting will be in Cave Springs (Floyd County) on August 14, 2024. Members and prospective members - make plans to join us next month! See you there!
