We're excited to be heading out on our first 2024 Fishing Adventure, June 26-July 3. First Stop - Waterfall Resort Alaska, one that's been on the bucket list for many years. Our home base is Ketchikan, followed by a float plane ride into the lodge. We'll keep you posted, especially if we come home with the King of Kings!

Next stop, Sportsman's Cove Lodge - Alaska - Alaskas Best Lodge. After a brief overnight in Ketchikan, we jump on another float plane and head to the lodge for 3 nights of unparalleled fishing and wilderness experiences. Stay tuned we'll be updating you live from Alaska.

Mending the Line officially hits Netflix tomorrow Saturday the 23rd!

If you haven’t watched the movie yet, it’s an incredibly powerful movie on the journey of service, separation, and finding peace in the outdoors through fly fishing.

We hope that it will reach a whole new audience and bring awareness to the powers of the outdoors for our veterans and for all looking to find more peace.

On August 4, 1953, Alfred Glassell, Jr. set the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for black marlin that still holds today, exactly 70 years later. Glassell caught this massive 707.61-kilogram (1,560-pound) black marlin while trolling a mackerel in Cabo Blanco, Piura, Peru. A famed angler and conservationist, Glassell, Jr. was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1954, awarded the International Oceanographic Foundation Marine Science Award in 1971 and was inducted into the IGFA Hall of Fame in 2001. Glassell Jr.'s contributions to sportfishing and science will always be remembered and appreciated.
