Join tomorrow, August 13th!
Our biggest fundraiser has helped camp facility grow & keep us debt free each year. In the past we have used the monies raised to fully fund the building of the Event Center and the Lodge. This year, we are so close to having the bathrooms & Lodge exterior completed! Funds raised this year through Erie Gives pro rated match program, will be used to FINALLY complete the Lodge & begin other facility improvements that need some updating after 20+ years of camp.
Tomorrow, August 13th, you can head to eriegives.org - from midnight to midnight - search for Mystic Mountain Training Center & enter the amount that you would like to give! Each donation truly makes a difference.

It's a wrap! Week 2 of summer camp is done and all that remains are a ton of good memories. We had a great group of campers and can't wait to see you all back next year!

Bill is my hero!
What happens during weeks off between weeks of camp? Bill spent hours of his time working on installing the siding on the Lodge bathroom. The front is done and some of both sides. Thank you Kit Torrillio for your Thursday morning of help!

Mystic Riders
This team of teens have been working on this drill pattern for months. They have hours and hours of time into perfecting the pattern. The team performs every Friday at the closing program. These photos are a composite from weeks one and two. Erin had to ride Rose in week one because Fancy was lame. Week two she was able to go back to her favorite horse! The team is Ava, Erin, Mackenzie, Paeyton, Sofee, and Maddie. Carly run the sound for the team and critiques all of the practices. I am so proud of all of these girls!!

Canoe and kayak training is always a favorite. The kids loved learning how to flip a canoe over and then swim it back to shore. They also learned basic steering strokes as well as how to safely change places in a canoe while out on the water. The game was upped when they all had to change which canoe they were in while out on the pond.

It is a wrap for week one of summer camp. The memories will live on forever though. Here is a sneak peak at some of the wonderful art projects made this summer: mosaic picture frames, stained glass, sewing project for boys in Africa, sculpie clay and so much more!

The summer camp season is right around the corner! We are still looking to fill these positions - are you interested?! We would love to chat further! Camp Nurse - taking care of bumps & bruises during the camp day, etc. Lodge Leaders - one college age guy & one college age girl to help out in the evenings / overnights for the teen staff. Think - the staff counselor! Photographer - snapping photos & organizing by week to be sent home with the campers to help remember the fun for years to come!
