Meet our 2024 Future Nobel Laureate Scholar Aline Abayo!

Aline is a master’s candidate at UC Berkeley's Energy and Resources Group (ERG) focusing on climate finance and the economics of climate change. Prior to joining ERG, Aline was a junior fellow in the Africa Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, contributing to research on energy transition in Africa and Africa’s evolving role in global geopolitics.

Her focus for the program will be exploring methodologies to help incorporate conflict-affected states into the early planning stages of climate finance programs. Join us in congratulating Aline!
