The gravel Wildlife roads in Salt Fork State Park (R-51, R-52, R-54, R-55 and R-57) are temporarily closed. The recent freezing and thawing, along with rain on the leftover snowpack, has resulted in roads with a solid sheet of ice buildup several inches thick. We will notify everyone once the roads are safe to re-open.

2024 Year in Review - Timberline Cabins

What an amazing year it’s been at Timberline Cabins! We’ve experienced so much growth and transformation, and we’re excited to share our accomplishments with you all.

✨ Fresh New Look: Each of our cabins received new décor, adding even more charm and comfort to your stay.

🏡 New Properties: We proudly launched Hunters Haven Lodge, Hillside Hideaway, and Peaceful Pines Lodge — three beautiful new properties, each offering its own unique retreat in nature.

💦 Relax & Unwind: Several of our cabins now feature brand-new hot tubs, creating the perfect space for relaxation after a day of outdoor adventures.

🐴 New Amenities at Peaceful Pines: We’re excited to announce the addition of horse stalls and a round pen at Peaceful Pines Lodge, making it an ideal destination for equestrian enthusiasts. Along with a serene fishing pond for even more outdoor fun!

🌍 Community Connection: Throughout 2024, we’ve continued to build connections with our local community by hosting special events and supporting meaningful causes. It’s been so rewarding to partner with others and contribute to the great work happening in our area.

⭐ Here are some tips for staying safe boating on the water this winter from our friends at Ohio State Parks:
⏺️ Keep What Matters Afloat: Always wear a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket. It keeps your airway above water and increases survival time in emergencies.
⏺️ Dress for Success: Wear insulating and water-resistant layers to retain warmth in cold conditions.
⏺️ File a Float Plan: Let someone know your plans, including where you’re going and when you expect to return.
