We were sad to see our Icelandic adventure come to an end. The students from Beacon Academy loved baking bread under the lava and soaking in the Blue Lagoon. Our guide, Jacob, shared a heartfelt note he received at the end of the trip.

🌍✨ Our school group from Beacon Academy has just embarked on an incredible adventure exploring the wonders of Iceland!

In the first two days, they explored Reykjavik on a guided walking tour, connected with local students, and visited their school to gain insight into Icelandic school life.

They also toured a geothermal plant to learn about sustainable energy firsthand and enjoyed a concert at the legendary Harpa Concert Hall.

We’ll start with the Cuban Art Factory—an incredibly creative repurposed space—then move on to Claxon, a hotel boutiquewith a charming rooftop where you can enjoy tasty cocktails and wonderful jazz.

Be sure to swing by the modern and stylish Yarini, known as a hidden gem in Old Havana. And why not drop by Salón Rojo in the Capri Hotel? It’s a famous cabaret with a colorful nightlife!
