Sailing with Schooner Lewis R. French
The early season sailing has been very nice! Today will be 70.
We've been hearing that other parts of the country are reaching 90s already!
It's not too late to plan your cool, Maine sailing adventure with us. We have availability on several cruises, though it may only be a cabin or two. Snag one today!
Sights and SOUNDS of spring in coastal Maine
Fun in the shipyard. Last week Angelique’s hull was stripped to bare steel using a 40,000 psi pressure washer, and then she got her first coat of epoxy primer. More to come!! #thisiswindjamming
What do we do in the winter? We work....and we play! Malcolm says at the end "that was epic!"
How vacation experts vacation. Just some R&R and family time. Lots of water play along the North Carolina shore.
Cover day. Man, can these crews work fast! With Schooner Lewis R. French #thisiswindjamming
It's a wild and wet day here on the coast! Storm surges and 60 mph wind gusts! Angelique and all the big boats in Camden are okay. Hope all is well where you are.
Summertime, and the sailing is easy. #thisiswindjamming #tanbark #tanbarksails
@murray_carpenter got this footage of us returning from shipyard. It won’t be long now before we bend on sail and greet our first guest of the season! We still have room on some of our early trips. Operators are standing by.

I’m missing this right now. A windy day on the bay and no particular place to go. #thisiswindjamming
I always say that @woodenboatmag at the bottom of the reach has the best sunsets anywhere. Here are a few over the years to help prove my point.
