As our 2024 season has come to a close on Schooner Surprise and Sloop Anjacaa we want to thank everyone who made it so successful. From anyone who booked a sail with us, to hotel and inns that sent guests to us, to family and friends that supported us and most importantly to all of our staff that worked so hard with us we are incredibly grateful. We look forward to next year when we meet new people and take many on their first sail ever and show them our home in Camden, Maine. For now though it’s time for some rest, adventure and new experiences. Our baby girl is 18 today! It’s doesn’t seem possible that the time has come for you to spread your wings and see the world on your own, but we know you are ready! Delfina you have brought us so much joy and love in the last 18 years. I love your adaptive way of living both in Argentina and Maine and venturing out to live with a family in Spain, always excited to meet new people and embrace new cultures. Your quick laugh, your love of animals, your fiery Latino attitude, your way of always standing up for what you believe in are what make you so lovable. We love you so much Delfína so excited for this next year of travel for you and remember at home we will always be waiting for you. 🥰🥰

Starting July 2nd we will be beginning our Birding and Marine Life tours with Ornithologist Richard Podolsky. They will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in July and August. Join us and learn more about the seaboard in our area. Book at SchoonerSurprise.com

Anjacaa starts regularly scheduled trips tomorrow at $90 a person. Sailing at 1pm, 3:30pm and 6pm from to July 1st. Private charters are also available for groups of up to 6. Join us and take a sail you will never forget!

Annual trip home to Argentina was short this year, but packed with time with family and friends. A short adventure to the Andes to do some hut hiking and and show Delfina’s boyfriend Cam some of our favorite spots and then quick tour of Buenos Aires and Bbq with cousins to end the trip. We are already counting the days to going back next year! If you are thinking of traveling to Argentina don’t hesitate to contact us for information on what to see and where to go! It’s a beautiful country with lovely people.

Not only did Anjacaa get a new paint job on deck, but we also painted her topsides she is shinier than ever! We also have new cockpit cushions and all new varnish. Ramiro has worked so hard to make all this happen along with an excellent group of painters and many crew members along the way! It’s time to start thinking about summer and sailing. Our calendars are now up online to start booking your sails aboard both Anjacaa and Surprise!
