Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. I took this shot yesterday afternoon just before the Lively Lady left Camden Harbor to take a tour of Penobscot Bay. Camden has several great choices for tour boats, all highly recommended, but Camden Harbor Cruises has several lobster traps they check on each trip! Not too long after I took this shot we got some heavy rain with thunder and lightning. I’m guessing they got back in before it hit.

How is everyone? We still a bit of fog and mist here this minute the sun is out now! Ethiopia Natural Yirgacheffe is my Coffee of the Day, this one never disappoints!

Coffee on the Porch- Camden, Maine does it again!

Schooner Olad and the Lively Lady- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. It’s nice to see Schooner Olad back in Camden Harbor and I do believe today is the official start to their season! The Lively Lady of Camden Harbor Cruises is loaded with lobster traps which willl be set in Penobscot Bay and checked for lobsters during their summer tours. Camden has an exceptional fleet of tour boats that are all highly recommended, tickets can be purchased under the umbrellas located on the boardwalk!

How is everyone? My Coffee of the Day once again is from Bolivia, which is now available for purchase on our website. The description for this enjoyable coffee is spot on! “Starts with a smooth taste of hazelnut then blossoms into a wide, sweet acidity that coats your tongue like black raspberries and lingers with a dark chocolate finish.” Yes please!!

On the Boardwalk- Good morning from the cloudy Coast of Maine. To say there were some clouds this morning would be an understatement. It was incredible! There were enough to keep the sun from appearing but not enough to keep it from illuminating the clouds. It’s starting to look and feel like summer.

How is everyone? The Word of the Day is Busy! With two pallets of coffee greens to unload and store, online orders to fill, local deliveries to make, and roasting coffee, Jesse and I are going to be busy!! I’m enjoying a cup of Mountain King this morning, a perfect choice for a busy day.

Another sweet shot from Coffee on the Porch- Camden, Maine!

Good morning from the sunny/rainy/sunny Coast of Maine. Crazy weather. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday for this shot! I had just dropped coffee off at The Owl&Turtle Bookshop Cafe and was heading back home when I saw the masts of Schooner Mary Day coming into Camden Harbor. I did a u-turn on my bike and got my camera out in time to get a few shots of the Lively Lady as well. I was impressed, no empty seats on an overcast, drizzly day! Camden Harbor Cruises is on my Top Five list of things to do in Camden!

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

Good morning from the cold and sunny Coast of Maine and happy Thanksgiving! I just happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday afternoon when I saw the Periwinkle leaving Camden Harbor. After taking a short video I headed straight to Curtis Island Lighthouse and waited for this shot. The Periwinkle is the sister ship to the Lively Lady of Camden Harbor Cruises and I know some of you have been on a tour of Penobscot Bay on that one.

We are expecting a houseful today and my tasks are few, after setting up all the tables and chairs, make the coffee and stay out of the way! I can do that. I will be digging out my large French press and making several carafes of Comfort and Joy. Perhaps some decaf for later in the afternoon. Perhaps.

Good morning from the Coast of Maine. What a beautiful sunrise we had this morning to end an incredible month and it was warm! The lovely Lively Lady of Camden Harbor Cruises sitting all alone just waiting to take passengers out on the bay!

How is everyone? Things have not slowed down in our coffee world and we are very grateful for that! The 2023 Calendars are flying off the shelf as well, a lot of you have already received yours. Shaamya did a fantastic job once again and the calendars have special discount codes on coffee as well! I’m hitting the bag of Mexico this morning, it is delicious.

On the Boardwalk- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine and happy Friday! There wasn’t a cloud in the sky this morning as I watched the sunrise and it was a bit chilly, especially after yesterday’s shorts and t-shirt weather. I really liked this shot from yesterday morning before the sun came out so I decided to post it rather than a photo from today. Not a soul in sight and not many boats left in the harbor. The Lively Lady of Camden Harbor Cruises sitting pretty all alone at the dock.

How is everyone? After a chilly start to the day I’m enjoying a cup of Mexican Chiapas as my starter cup. I may hit the espresso machine for my second cup! I’ll be taking coffee to Lincolnville General Store this afternoon which will include a bag of Blackbird Espresso for their new espresso machine. Be sure and stop in and check it out!

What a fantastic summer and fall season we’ve had!
Thank you to everyone who has joined us on our public trips or on a private charter.
We’ve really enjoyed meeting new friends and seeing so many familiar faces come back to cruise with us!

We have decided to offer a few more public trips this Thursday and Saturday for those of us who are not quite ready to say goodbye to the season just yet.

On Board the Lively Lady- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. I had so much fun yesterday morning on the Lively Lady! These Harbor Seals were just one of so many different sights and sounds on the cruise of Penobscot Bay! The owners, Captain Dom and Liz were the best! Definitely a Five Star worthy outing. If you are coming to Camden or have never been out on the bay, put Camden Harbor Cruises on your ”To do” list!

How is everyone? I’ll be on the road this morning doing some out of town deliveries. Jesse will be busy roasting coffee today to keep the shelves full! My Coffee of the Day, a smooth cup of Guatemala, delicious!

The Lively Lady and the Anjacaa- Good morning from the Coast of Maine. It wasn’t raining when I left the house this morning but ten minutes later it started to sprinkle. I decided to wait and sure enough there was a break in the weather and the light around the harbor was beautiful! These two boats take passengers out for a tour of Penobscot Bay and I highly recommend either one if you plan to visit! The beautiful building is the home of Peter Otts on the water, opening soon, and the Grand Harbor Inn, the best seats of the harbor in town!

How is everyone? We are expecting rain all day which needless to say is perfect coffee weather! I’ll have an Ethiopian Natural Yirgacheffe followed by an Orange Sunburst Espresso! That should do it! Don’t forget Mother’s Day is this weekend!!
