Pointing People Toward Christ
We are a conference center and summer camp in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. We offer Christian events, concerts, and retreats throughout the year, as well as meeting space to groups looking for a place to hold their own programs and events. During the summer, hundreds of children and teens enjoy one of our week-long summer camps. Kids ages 7-18 can attend one of our age-specific weeks of Wilderness Camp, held in June, July, and August. During this week, children get away from their everyday distractions to build meaningful relationships with each other, as well as deepen their relationship with God. While at Spruce Lake, campers can explore our 800 acres of mountaintop wilderness. From hiking our 10 miles of trails that lead to streams and beautiful waterfalls, to kayaking in our lake, to swimming in our outdoor heated pool, campers can experience God’s creation firsthand. Additional outdoor activities include places to play basketball, tennis, soccer, gaga, and shuffleboard, along with test their courage as they conquer our high ropes course, climbing tower, and 500-foot zip line. Each day, campers enjoy devotions, worship times, and Bible studies, so they can grow personally and spiritually. Campers ages 11-18 can attend one of our off-site Expeditions, which takes them hiking and biking through the Catskill Mountains or canoeing down the Delaware River. Is your child too young or unsure of staying overnight at camp? Our Day Camp provides daily fun activities and adventures for children 5-13 years old. During the year, local Christian schools and homeschool co-ops can visit our nature center and experience our outdoor education program. We also serve as a venue for youth group retreats and conferences for business and denominations. With accommodations for up to 600 people, plenty of flexible meeting spaces, and a full-service dining hall with buffet-style meals, hosting your next event or retreat at Spruce Lake is both affordable and easy. Plus, we are just a 3-hour drive from New York, Philadelphia, and Delaware. Visit our website to learn more about our retreat options and prices. And give us a call to register a camper for a week of summer camp.
