Today was a stressful day to end our lambing season. Our first time ewe Daisy had a malpositiond lamb with one foot stuck. I had to go in and tried my best to pull the lamb but I just couldn’t bring the other front foot forward. Thankfully our vet was able to come right out to assist . Daisy had a beautiful little girl who I thought wouldn’t make it . Emma assisted and dried and cared for the baby while we took care of mom. Mom and baby are doing great 😊 happy ending to a crazy day 🥰

I sure was surprised when I went out to the barn this morning. I found this cutie had been born sometime late last night or early this morning. I wasn’t even expecting this ewe to lamb yet…. I thought she had a couple weeks to go 🤪 this adorable baby girl looks just like her mama

Fern did such a great job bringing these two beautiful girls into the world!! We have been anticipating this moment for a looooong time and are so grateful we were a part of it!! I have been watching this girl obsessively and have spend many cold late nights in the barn anticipating their arrival 🤪 such a beautiful thing to witness🥰mama and babies are doing fantastic!

The farm is growing 😃🤪we welcomed our new lamb midnight to the farm on Sunday she is very timid so we are spending lots of time with her to teach her that she can trust us.

Today we said goodbye to our first farm animal ever ! Aries our Pygmy goat passed away in the middle of the night surrounded by love. He taught us so much and brought us so much joy over the past 10 years. He could be a little bu**er at times but we will surly miss his antics. Having our little farm has taught us so much about love ,life and loss.
As the good book reads... to everything there is a season ... a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up what was planted; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; a time to weep ; a time to laugh ; and a time to mourn.
Aries we brought you home holding you on my lap in the car with no farm at all ...and we built up our farm around you. We will be forever grateful for having you in our life and for showing us the way.. RIP our sweet boy !!
