10 years ago TODAY, I made one of the best decisions ever!!!! Ten years ago today I signed my first contract and established Mickey World Travel- Jess Meissner. The BEST part of this decision was becoming part of the MWT family!! ❤️💙
I’m SO thankful to Ron & Janice for not only giving me a chance 10 years ago, but for always being my cheerleaders; often believing in me and my business when I didn’t believe in myself. Encouraging me to take the risks when I was unsure, to believe in the magic, and reminding me that you get out of it what you put in!
In 10 years I have learned so much and grown as a Travel Agent. I am constantly learning but one thing that has only grown is my joy and absolute love of helping people plan vacations and trips to make meaningful “memories to last a lifetime” with those that mean the most to them!! Life is WAY too short to sit on the sidelines!

ANNOUNCING: I am so excited !! New manatees have arrived at The Seas pavilion in EPCOT as the location has now transitioned into a short-term rehabilitation center 🌊

“As strandings increase, critical care facilities are becoming overwhelmed, so by shifting our focus, we open up space at The Seas for more of those urgent cases. This helps relieve pressure on overcrowded facilities, supports the MRP’s efforts, and boosts our contribution to manatee conservation, which is what excites me most about shifting from long-term care to short-term rehabilitation.”

Disney now states that no manatee resident at The Seas is expected to be there longer than 6 to 9 months - Currently, Cider and Mino reside in EPCOT 🌐

Just over a year ago MWT (Mickey World Travel) lost their founding CEO Ron Hayeck to a brief battle with cancer. Yesterday, his beautiful wife and the Co-CEO of Mickey World Travel, Janice joined him in heaven after a massive heart attack.

To say I am (we all are) in shock and heartbroken is an absolute understatement! Janice was an amazing person, a joy to be with and work for! We had so much fun together!!! We could talk for hours on the phone or through text messages. I will hold our trips together and our conversations in my memory forever!!! ❤️

Please keep all of us who loved Janice in your thoughts and prayers, but especially Ron & Janice’s children Dylan and Tori! We now all will continue to work together to help Mickey World Travel continue being the best agency EVER and Ron & Janice’s legacy!!

Dylan and Tori, I love you both!! I am always just a phone call away! Janice, I will miss you so much my friend! Give Ron a hug for me! Love you both! 💔😓

How It Started For Me...

I will never forget the first time I ever experienced Disney Magic! My parents loaded my sister and I in the family minivan with the pop-up camper being towed behind, and after a three day drive we arrived at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. I was 11 yrs old and after 5 days at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, I was hooked! Now as a mother of three, I have been blessed to be able to watch my children experience the magic and culture that is Disney. Fast forward 25 years and I will never forget our first family trip to Walt Disney World! My children's faces the first time they saw the castle, my daughter Emily's then 8 year old reaction when she was able to carry on a 10 minute conversation with Cinderella. The giggle of my son Zach when he got two of the fairies to kiss his cheeks because he wouldn't smile! The pure delight on my son Jacob's face when Ariel took time to not only talk with him, but got right down on the floor with a then 4 year old boy and made him feel like a prince! We have returned to Walt Disney World many times since that first family trip, and each time we leave with a greater love for Disney and even more amazing memories! I now want to help other families build those memories and have those amazing experiences!! A trip to a Disney destination does not need to be stressful!!
