Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Oneida Library by attending a FREE walking tour in Downtown Oneida! 🥳
A collaboration between the Madison County Historian– Matthew Urtz, the Oneida City Historian– Ariel Bero, and the Oneida Library, you’ll be sure to learn something new about some historic commercial buildings in the City of Oneida.
The next tours are on July 13 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will start in front of the Elk’s Lodge on the corner of Main and Cedar St.

The assembly of the main structure is underway and we watch as it transforms the landscape as construction continues. ➡️
The foundation and underground systems are all in place, providing a strong base for our exciting structural developments. The steel framework is coming together, highlighting the shape of what’s to come at this fantastic site. 💪
A reminder that the upper falls rim trail is open to the public! 🎉
The lower falls will continue to remain closed to ensure safety and precision. Your patience will be rewarded with even more breathtaking views in the near future. 🤗

This event will feature a fry bread competition, a Haudenosaunee Smoke Dance competition at 1 p.m. showcasing talented dancers of all ages, as well as authentic Indigenous artwork for sale.

The partial eclipse will begin around 2:09 pm, the full eclipse will last for a little over a minute between 3:23-3:24 pm, and the partial eclipse will end around 4:34 pm.
