Where are all my Halloween lovers at?? Ever been to Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights? This years Last of Us house and FEDRA foods were out of this world! Such an amazing experience, but definitely prepare to be scared if you do plan on attending! Even the Wizarding World area was terrifying with death eaters lurking everywhere! The final course at Monsieur Paul in the France pavilion at Epcot is dessert. And this dessert is the mother of all desserts! The sphere de chocolat au lait features a a milk chocolate sphere filled with chocolate almond cake, hazelnut biscuit, and chocolate ice cream. Warm chocolate cognac sauce is drizzled over the outter shell to reveal the beautiful inside. Absolutely stunning!! And devine! For a final a final treat, we were served macarons with a glass of wine with the bill! Monsieur Paul did not disappoint! If you are thinking of booking a dining reservation here, keep these few things in mind: 1. This is a dining experience. It is pricey at $195 per person. That does not include tax or gratuity. 2. Children under 10 are not allowed. It is more of an adult experience. 3. There is a dress code. You can’t wear your park t-shirts or flip-flops! 4. It is a perfect anniversary, romantic spot but you can do it alone and feel just as comfortable as the staff is top notch. Our Monsieur Paul’s dining adventure is here! This is a multi-course meal with 3 signature drinks! First course (pic 1) is amuse-bouche with monsieur Paul’s cocktail. Second course is served with delicious Parmesan bread (pic 2), and then the star appetizer, lobster salad with passion fruit vinaigrette (3rd pic). Next course is fish! Snapper with potato scales (that are hand laid to mimic real scales) filled with a gorgeous carrot/celery root based filling (pics 4 & 5). Next up was the Trou Normand (palette cleanser) of pear liqueur with pear sorbet (pics 6 & 7). Meat course was next, center cut beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes mousseline ( pics 8 & 9). Savory courses end with the cheese course, a beautiful plate of imported cheeses (pic 10)! Champagne is served through the meal, and compliments everything absolutely perfectly. Everything was delicious and decadent! Such an amazing experience that ends with what is possibly the most gorgeous dessert experience ever! Stay tuned for that in the next post!

Iykyk, this is one of Disney World’s finest signature dining experiences. And when I say finest, I mean FINEST! This is going to be a 3 part post just because there is so much to see and eat that I couldn’t possibly fit it into one! I get asked A LOT about what are some fun non-park things to do when visiting Disney World in Orlando. My # 1 answer for adults is always to resort hop, but my close #2 response is Disney Springs. But Disney Springs during Happy Hour, where you can enjoy inexpensive food and drinks while you shop, walk, and people watch!! I think most tourists forget Disney Springs is also a venue for locals as well, so why wouldn’t they have happy hour specials to draw in some regulars? And no, the drinks aren’t watered down and the food quality is still excellent. We love STK’s happy hour specials for the small plate/appetizers (we usually get a couple different to try and at the cheaper prices it def won’t break the bank), and at Paradiso 37 they have $8 margaritas during happy hour! Like who doesn’t love $8 margaritas? Especially at Disney where a typical drink is gonna run you $15-$20 at regular price! Citi works offers $2 off drafts, wine, hard seltzers, and the backyard flight. They also have half price bar bites! Raglan Road happy hour has $5 domestic beers, and the list goes on! So yeah, you’ve heard of the monorail crawl, how about the Springs Happy Hour Crawl 🥂🍻! Just jump on Disney Transportation from your resort, either bus or boat, and enjoy!! Anyone surprised by today’s news? As cool as Galactic Starcruiser is, it’s such a niche experience that can be pretty pricey! Disney has paused reservations until May 26th, but if it’s something that’s on your must do list before it goes away forever, I can try to get you booked for one final voyage!
