Check out our NTMA Honor Award-winning project at Winthrop Center! Project highlights include the 7 sculpted benches installed on a cleverly designed ramp system that allows accessibility for all from entrance down to main lobby and eliminates the need for a separate handicapped ramp.

Executing this design required precise geometry on multiple planes and a creative approach to moving the nearly 2,000 lb. pieces into location.

On this recent NTMA Honor Award-winning project at Winthrop Center in Boston, significant attention was paid to control joints as the design team required precise alignment of joints on horizontal and vertical planes. Criss-crossing control joints within the floor pattern required expert mitering at numerous intersecting stars.

Control joints in Terrazzo help absorb movement and prevent cracking.
