Good Friday, July 19th facebook friends ! We hope you are enjoying July !

Our office will close today at 5pm July 19th for summer vacations ! We will return on July 29th at 10am. * Emails will be checked daily and responded to as needed.

* Late 2nd payments for the fall trips through our online payment portal Wetravel will continue as normal.

*Late Fall trip payments received today via US Mail will be processed today. All payments received Saturday, July 20-29 sent via the US mail will be held at the post office until Monday morning July 29. They will be processed Monday, July 29th afternoon.

FYI: All fall trip new registrations are on a "space available" basis per school.

Good Monday morning facebook friends ! Happy July 15th ! Wow, July is halfway over, the summer break is going way too fast. Before you know it the kids will be back in school ! We hope you enjoy the final days of July !

Business news: With all the 2024 fall trips 2nd payments due last Friday or this Friday a few of you are having issues with making the Wetravel online payments.
* Issues: The deposit was mailed in or paid in school without an email address attached, you will need to send our office your email prior to making the 2nd payment. Your first payment was posted under the trip coordinator's email. We can correct that email issue. then you can open an account for the student.
* Your 2nd payment is late: You can still make that second payment via credit card or mail-in payment.

* Still confusing for the 2nd payment via electronic portal, please go to the Traveling Classrooms website, click " submit payment", scroll through the school list, find your school and follow the prompts. There is a tab for optional and partial payments.

Last night in DC Traveling Classrooms had a ”first time” event! We. Have had many dances over the last 36 years but never outside ! The courtyard DJ dance for Perry Edison 243 8th graders was fantastic ! The weather cooperated which led to an outstanding party ! Here’s a video from the party ! The PG event was hit with all ! Great kids and Chaperones!

Hello all, We hope you are enjoying the spring. Many tours have been completed BUT it's time for the busiest month of the tour season.... May ! We started our May departures on the 1st with another 25 schools departing through May 31. Our spring season officially ends June 5th with 2 more departures that week.

We thank all the schools for entrusting Traveling Classrooms with their travel arrangements ! We are proud to be selected as their tour operator.

Our fall 2024 season is coming along fine with 14 confirmed schools sending deposits.

PAYMENT INFO: Wetravel is our only credit card payment platform for fall 2024 and spring 2025 departures. Please go to our website, Traveling Classrooms, click " submit payment" scroll through the school list. Click your school tab to learn about your trip and make electronic payments.
** Those parents that are using the "In School" or the "Mail-In" payment registration method please include your email address on the permission form with your check or cash payment. . That will allow you to log on the Wetraveling trip tab for your school. You will receive payment receipts through your email.

Our spring 2025 season is going to set another record. Along with our 54 repeat school systems we are adding another 5 to our client list !

*** Venmo is still the payment system for this spring 2024 trips.
The Venmo payment system will end with our spring 2024 season. Venmo will be shut down after all payments for spring 2024 trips have been accepted.

***Wetravel is the payment platform for fall 2024 trips, 2025 spring trips and beyond.

*** For complete payment information, go to our website Traveling Classrooms, click " Submit payment" and follow the prompts. * Remember: Venmo only for this spring trips. Wetravel payments begin with fall 2024 schools.

TOUR NEWS
It's been a great spring season this far. February and March saw 14 schools depart to Philadelphia, Washington DC and Gettysburg.
April is moving right along with another 11 schools departing to DC, Chicago, NYC and Columbus.

May is fast approaching with another 28 trips to DC, Columbus and Pittsburgh

June finishes our spring season with 3 more departures to DC and Columbus.

Happy Friday, March 8th facebook friends !

Our spring 2024 season has begun in earnest !
* Last week Traveling Classrooms had 1 school with 4 buses in Philadelphia.
* This week 2 schools with 8 buses in DC.
* The week of March 11th 5 schools totaling 7 buses in DC
* The week of March 18th 2 schools with 9 buses in DC
* The week of March 25 2 schools with 2 buses in DC.

* Including January and February 32 buses on the road from 14 schools with over 1300 students, 150 chaperones trusted Traveling Classrooms to arrange and manage their trips. We are proud to be their preferred student tour operator.

April will see a slight decrease in departures due to public schools prepping for the state tests. Our April schedules includes many private and parochial schools.

May kicks off the busiest month of the year with over 30 school departures.

** Electronic Payments for spring 2024: Parents --- Only VENMO payments are being accepted along with "Mail-In" or "In-School" collections.

** Payment info updates for Fall 2024 departures. Parents remember our new Credit Card payment platform is through Wetravel. Go to our website, click " Submit Payment". Scroll down to find your school. Click the school tab and follow the prompts.
** Parents "mailing payments" or using the "in school" collection dates please supply your email address on the permission form. We will add your payments to your school trip list on the Wetravel payment platform on our website. You will be able to log on through your email address and check your payment status etc.
***VENMO payments are not accepted for fall 2024/spring 2025 departures***

This is a general notice payment notice for all our Spring 2024 trips, Fall 2024 trips and Spring 2025 trips.

ELECTRONIC PAYMENT INFO:
1. Spring 2024 trips: Continue to use VENMO payment methods.
* Do not use WeTravel for spring 2024 trips. It is not available for any spring 2024 trips.

2. Fall 2024 trips: Only use WeTravel electronic payment methods. Only electronic payments through Wetravel will be accepted
* Venmo is being discontinued after this spring 2024 trips

3. Spring 2025: Only electronic payment system is through WeTravel

* You can save some payment fees by using your checking account instead of credit cards. * See the process when paying those payments on the Wetravel booking tab.

IN-SCHOOL OR MAIL-IN PAYMENTS:
** We are still accepting in school payments and mail-in payments for all schools, spring 2024, fall 2024, spring 2025. * Please review your trip paperwork handed out in your school.

** PARENTS: When using the in-school payment or mail-in payments, we need an email address. It's on the PPF (parent permission form) attached to the trip paperwork handed out to the students. Please return that form with all in-school or mail-in payments. Our office will post your payment on the Wetravel trip tab for your school. You can then track your payments, balances, payment schedules and also receive reminders/updates through that platform.

On this Christmas eve night, the staff of Traveling Classrooms wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Year!

* Our office is answering emails only through January 5. Please funnel all concerns via [email protected] From January 5-12 either email or call 330-284-1362. Beginning January 15, all communication channels will return to full operations.

* Venmo payments will be posted to student accounts daily
throughout the holidays. Payments by mailed checks will be processed beginning on January 6th.

* Let’s all have a safe holiday period, remember the reason for the season, pray for the less fortunate especially the Tusky Valley community .

On New Year’s Day, lets all begin and strive to have a great year !

Last night was our annual Christmas party. 20 tour managers plus spouses enjoyed dinner, a game of bingo, and received their Christmas bonuses.

For the calendar year of 2023 our top trip managers were John Groff (17 tours), Barb Ruth and Brian Ries (14 tours) and Dan Simon (13 tours). Most of our managers take 6-10 tours each year. We are so proud of the service our managers provide for our schools.

The 2024 calendar year is going to be another great year ! Spring 2024 has over 50 school departures. After summer break , our repeat schools from this 2023 fall are already booked for the upcoming 2024 fall! We expect 4-5 new accounts to join them.

Something new for our 2024 fall trips will be the opportunity of parents to pay Traveling Classrooms through a new online payment collection system. This new system will eliminate the Venmo program. After logging in with an individual password, parents can view in real time their payment dates, make payments, check balances. School tour leaders can all also check the trip roster lists. This program provides a fantastic tool as each school will have their own link/webpage for updates etc. pertaining to their trip. This new program will be available beginning in January 2024 for all fall departures and thereafter. We will still offer in-school collection services along with the mail-in option.

Our spring 2024 trips will continue to use the Venmo system for electronic payments. We will still offer in-school payment collections along with the mail in payments.

We are very excited for 2024, but first let’s remember the Christmas season and enjoy the holidays.

Today the 8th graders at Carrollton Middle School researched and found a Vietnam Veteran on the Wall from their high school. It’s good to know there are youth out there that still respect, honor and remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ! Traveling Classrooms is proud to serve Carrollton Middle School.
