One year with our little Hilltop Hideaway! Last spring and summer was very busy, being so close to the Guadalupe River fun. Fall and winter months are also a lovely time to stay. Sit around the firepit with friends, spend hours on the back porch (bed) swing relaxing and bird/deer watching, take a day trip to cute little Gruene (20 mins away) or Wimberley breweries/wineries (30 mins). Dec-February is huge for fly fishing on the Guadalupe! Also a lovely place to work from "home" during the week, to get a change of scenery. Mama Doe peering over the fence this morning like “Can I speak to the manager?” Derrick found deer feeder was clogged, but had to leave for a conference. Guests are booked the next 5 weekends who expect deer visits. Thanks to long distance tech support from my brother, we’re back in business! Come on back mama Doe, the buffet is re-opened! 🦌🦌

Eeeekkk! Our first pre-wedding guests! I’ve totally imagined our vacation rental as a wonderful place for people to stay before/after getting married at one of the beautiful area venues. is a wonderful choice of venue & Hilltop Hideaway will be ready to host this sweet couple on their important weekend❤️ Yes, I’ve already purchased the wedding gift to leave for them at the house. 😂
