Getting sideways on the Sea Sons. Bull red and something giant hanging on the other rod. See if anyone can guess it right by the angle of the rod, location and depth is about 15ft and we can’t see the critter yet.

It’s been too rough to go deep and it has us seeing red!

Ever caught a sand tiger? Most people haven’t but today Captain Garren aboard the Sea Ventures got a smile from this one for his customers that they won’t soon forget. Not an every day catch but the winter months in Canaveral gives opportunity to check the box on this awesome animal.

The Owen clan had a great time offshore with Captain Joey aboard the Sea Trident yesterday. 4 big black fin tunas, a fat cobia, half dozen kings and some miscellaneous. The Sea Trident is a 40ft powerhouse that is capable of eating that ocean. Only charter boat offshore yesterday. Ocean was nicer than forecasted but the captain and boat had the confidence to handle it.

Been some fun sized black nose sharks, black tip sharks and fine tooth sharks around the last few days. Shark trips are great, close to shore and you don’t have to get up early. Winter months can be excellent shark fishing.

2-15-19 Tight Work Full Day Sight Seeing Trip. We were stationary in the shallows of the shoal. Whale approached us and we waited until it was a safe distance away before we throttled up and left the area.

In February we had a “tag a shark, tag a friend” contest. We did a random drawing for the winner. Take a look at the video to find out who won! Also, keep an eye out because we have another contest for March coming soon!
