After many years of operating fishing charters I have decided to retire and have sold the boats.
My son and co Captain Seth and I have moved on to another business endeavor together and plan to spend more days on the water fishing on our personal time, we realized we have never fished less but still was on the water more than ever.
We will be on the other side of the charter business now and I’m sure jumping on a few awesome adventures and making memories.
We appreciate all of our clients over the years and enjoyed having you all onboard.

Day 142 of the nearly non stop Gulf of Mexico El Niño winds, I am no longer a charter boat captain and have transitioned to a marina attendant washing docks and un used boats 🤨

Recreational Red Snapper seasons FINALLY been released.

And for those that dont have a boat and want to get out there on a whole boat charter for up to 6 passengers with all rods, tackle, fishing licenses and fish filleting included I have plenty of dates still available in June , July and up until
The for hire closure on August 24th.

The “For Hire” Red Snapper season starts June 1st, come on out with me and load up on Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Lane Snapper and Vermillion Snapper and maybe run into a Tuna or two as we often do!

Outbound, gonna get out about 45 miles with a group of 4 for some Grouper fishing on some of the flattest seas that I’ve seen for a while.

A little break from the wind yesterday and we had awesome Red Grouper, Lane, Vermillion and Mangrove Snapper fishing as usual but this fat Amberjack made this 13yr old kid from Pennsylvania trip, a quick pic and released and called it a day on that fish.

There’s only a few weeks left and that’s it for Red grouper until Jan 1/2023.

You never know what you will find out on the Ocean.
Todays hey what the heck is that floating over there, turned out to be an Iguana 18 miles offshore.
We picked him up and kept him in one of the fish holds till we got home and released him in my back yard, we have a small population of them in my neighborhood so I’m sure he will fit in to his new area.
Only ran 22 miles out to 65’ of water because the wind was blowing pretty good so no box full of big fish today, just a lot of fish tacos.

We spent half the day dodging thunderstorms and lost some to sharks but limit style fishing today on our 12 hour trip.
