Update with photos from Jerry Meyers. It was a very active weekend with a 30 foot Humpback whale, many Bottlenose dolphins and many Gray and Harbor seals!

The Humpback whale we encountered was entangled, which we only could see in a photo from Jerry after the trip. This and other vital information was passed on to the Entanglement Network with NOAA and if the whale is sighted again we will update you. I know many of you saw the deceased whale in Indian River, DE.

This is not the entangled whale we encountered this past weekend, however, with dorsal ID photos, we do believe this is a whale we saw back on March 14, 2025 in Delaware Bay. Our hearts dropped when we first heard about this whale stranding. When we last encountered this whale, the whale was swimming and feeding normally. This report of the stranding is heart breaking and makes us angry that this continues to happen to these beautiful animals.

We are cruising Friday, Saturday and Sunday and our full schedule for spring break is up on CMWW.com

With clean nuclear power, and a silent caterpillar drive system, we offer the largest and fastest submarine cruise in the world. Book now at CMWW.com to reserve your spot this summer!

Update: April Fools (but if anyone sees a typhoon class submarine for sale, that would be quite the rig)

We encountered an entangled 35 foot Humpback whale sad 😢, 20 Gray seals, four Harbor seals, and Bottlenose dolphins on every trip. Bald eagles, Northern Gannets, Great Cormorants, Double Crested Cormorants, Common Loons, and Surf Scoters, rounded out the avian species.

Update: the entanglement of a rope on the whales tail was not visible during our interaction with the whale. We saw the rope only in photoshop after focusing and cropping one photo out of hundreds. Upon finding this we have contacted the Entanglement Hotline with NOAA and we hope our data can help the properly trained and authorized personnel to help this whale.

We are cruising Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with extra dates daily during Spring Break! CMWW.com

We look forward to seeing you aboard
