This has been a really interesting situation to follow. Our naturalist Aidan Griffiths first noticed weeks ago a couple of nests on Thoroughfare Island (near Two Mile/Crab House Restaurants) where Common Tern adults are caring for Laughing Gull Chicks. We've witnessed them feeding them as well. We're not sure if this has ever been documented but we've never seen this before. Check out the pics and/or hop on board to see with your own eyes.
