SOLAR ECLIPSE TODAY! 🌘 In Southwest Florida, the partial eclipse begins at 11:52 AM and peaks at 1:28 PM with the moon covering 60% of the sun. Oregon to Texas get the Annular "Ring of Fire" main event. Friendly common sense reminder to not look directly at the sun without proper eye protection or ISO Certified Eclipse Glasses. Sunglasses won't cut it. Solar eclipse glasses can sometimes be found at local libraries or science centers, but no guarantees. Another option, especially for kids, is to Youtube how to make a Solar Eclipse viewer out of a cereal box. Have fun and enjoy everyone!
