About a year ago a fellow artist, Alice Bedard-Voorhees, and I decided to propose a show at the Launchpad Gallery in Carbondale, Colorado, entitled "Stone Souls". Alice is a mixed media artist and I am a photographer. From our proposal: "The works of photographer Greg Watts and mixed-media and print artist Alice Bedard-Voorhees express the importance of their relationships with stones and the spiritual and aesthetic relationships they inspire."
It has been a long strange trip, through covid, lock downs and the election, we have emerged, vaccinated and more or less sane. Well, the show opens this Friday, along with a group show featuring contemporary fiber art. Come by and check it out! Thank you Carbondale Arts for making this show a reality.
