If you’re visiting soon, it’s good to stay on top of masking/ COVID-19 related mandates. We will soon have extra masks for our guests who may need them!
During a Special City Council meeting on Monday, August 30, the Carbondale City Council unanimously voted to reinstate a city-wide mask mandate, effective immediately.
The City’s mask mandate reinforces Governor Pritzker’s statewide mandate, requiring masks be worn indoors regardless of vaccination status. The City’s mandate also requires all employers within the City require employees to wear face coverings when social distancing is not possible or when employees interact with customers, regardless of their vaccination status.
