As you start planning your vacations for 2023, consider using me as your travel agent. If you are wondering why....keep reading!
1) I offer full service travel planning. That means when you hire me, I'm assisting from the planning of the trip through the getting you there to getting you home. That includes being available to you "in destination" so if another Southwest meltdown happens like happened this week, or something similar, I'm the one on the phone on hold for 4 hours to get your flight changed or to get you rebooked on another airline while you continue enjoying your vacation.
2) Vacations today are more than just getting there and home...travelers today want experiences. As a travel agent, I have access to travel experts all over the world that can help to plan a vacation experience that you will remember for a lifetime. They know the places you want to see. They know the best times to visit this place or the best restaurant in that village or town to see a sunset. They know the things that can make the difference between a frustrating experience of a novice vs. the picture perfect memory of a lifetime.
3) I can get you a great deal, often with amenities or pricing that isn't available to you as a consumer. I'm a member of a host travel agency that books hundreds of thousands of rooms a year and negotiates great rates for clients in both hotels and on cruises. If you book it yourself, you might get the same rate...but if you book it through me, you may get an additional onboard credit, a free excursion not available to other guests, free wifi or parking or breakfast, or a special room class that isn't available when you check on the site yourself because we have blocks of rooms being held for our clients that are showing up on the public inventory as not available.
4) I do group travel (multi generations, girls trips, mother/daughter trips, family vacations, etc.) and destination weddings as well! I get great group rates and if we book 10 rooms or more (some all inclusive resorts are only 5 rooms), I can negotiate a discount for all rooms in that group.
5) I've traveled. A LOT. I'm considered a Caribbean expert but I can book travel anywhere in the world. If I've not been there, I research and talk to other travel agents who have and get their input and advice on the best places to stay, the best things to do, and will work with you to ensure that you get that vacation of a lifetime. I've helped clients jump out of airplanes, go scuba diving in the clearest waters in the world, rent their dream car, had them transported to their hotel in a helicopter as a free amenity...I can help you with the "should we do this or that" questions...and maybe the answer is, well, have you considered this instead?
6) I know the staff at the resorts. I know who to call for special requests. I touch base with them to let them know you are coming and that you are my clients and I make sure they are aware of any special requests or requirements that will make your stay exceptional.
7) I make sure your investment is protected. Travel insurance today is a must and I can usually get you better rates and better coverage than the insurance offered by airlines or vacation clubs (they only protect that part of your vacation).
8) Most importantly...I LOVE planning trips for clients. I love knowing that I help in creating those memories for couples, friends and families that will last a lifetime. I take care of you. It's my super power!
