Winter is the perfect time to connect and start volunteering at LifeCycle! Do you need to be a mechanic? Nope… we have a ton of other things to do. Ben explains just a few if the opportunities.
Sometimes you have to cut off the brake arm to save the shifter. Just needed a little elbow grease from Brian. Happy Friday!
Such an amazing year so far. We will stay open throughout the winter as well.
We get bikes out to folks in our community that are in need. Help us spread the word!
We needed all hands on deck to get this seat post unstuck. Josh and Ben finally got it moving after two days of scheming. But many others helped to loosen and let oil soak in. That’s one less bike for the scrap yard and one more bike for transportation in our community.
Please come join us tonight (Oct 31st) for our big Parking Lot PitStop at New Life Community Church at 64 East North St Carlisle Pa. We will set up in the parking lot of the church and there will be tons of things going on. We have 80+ kids bikes that are tuned up and ready to roll. The festivities will begin when the trick or treating begins. Probably around 6 or 6:30pm. Stop by to connect. Or better yet. Stop by and volunteer! We will be setting up around 4pm and could use your help. This. Is. Going. To. Be. AWESOME!!!
Perseverance pays off! These two are working on saving a very 90s totally radical MTB. The seat post was absolutely frozen in there, but with some elbow grease and luck it came out. This is going to be a special build.
If you have a child or know of a child that needs a safe bike, please stop by New Life Community Church and see all the possibilities. We will also be having a large Parking Lot PitStop party on Oct 31 where we will be giving away kids bikes and connecting with the community. Swing by and say hi! If you would like to fix a kids bike please come in during open hours and help us wrenc
