Cedarcrest High School is hosting Forefront Su***de Prevention LEARN Training for parents and caregivers on February 20, 2025 from 6:30pm - 8pm in the school library. This is a free, adult only event designed for parents and caregivers of students in grades 9 through 12, but all adults in the district are welcome to attend to learn steps to help keep children safe and supported. This is a reminder about the Riverview PTSA Council’s Reflections Awards Gala, which will take place on Friday, January 24th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Education Service Center in Duvall. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the program will begin at 6:30 PM.

Event Highlights:
• From 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, enjoy viewing the displayed student artwork. Each piece will feature a placement ribbon, and students can see if their work is advancing to the Washington State round of the competition.
• All students will be celebrated with a ribbon and certificate.

In total, we will celebrate 88 talented students from across the district. Students advancing to the state level of the competition will be announced during the gala.

We hope you can join us for this exciting evening celebrating art in Riverview!

Riverview Rec & Rally needs volunteers!

Riverview Rec & Rally, a new after-school initiative aimed at providing safe places to participate in engaging activities for local youth who live within the Riverview School District is set to launch early next year, thanks to a collaborative effort between local leaders and Riverview School District. The initiative, which grew out of community focus groups addresses a critical need for after-school opportunities for children and teens.

Rec & Rally will take place at Tolt Middle School in addition to space at Remlinger Farms one evening a week, offering supervised activities for students of all backgrounds.
