Michigan Thumb Region Non-Mototrized Plan

Michigan Thumb Region Non-Mototrized Plan The focus of the project is the M 25 corridor and the waterfront communities along the corridor. Please click here to view the webinar presentation.

The counties of Tuscola, Sanilac and Huron have joined together to develop a regional non-motorized transportation plan and encourage you to join in the development of the plan. This project is funded by an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program and is part of a larger effort that is looking at energy production and utilization in the Thumb area as well as promoting economic develo

pment in the region. The project will also be looking at routes that link to interior communities and destinations. The project will be very implementation oriented looking to identify realistic projects that will effect noticeable improvement to bicycling and walking conditions in the region. The project will also look at implementation costs and available funding sources to construct the projects identified. Project Kick-off Webinar
