FIREWORKS AND MUSIC ARE BACK!
2023 BOARDWALK BLAST LINE UP ANNOUNCED
The Town of Carolina Beach’s Parks & Recreation are proud to announce the return of Fireworks and Music on the Boardwalk for the Summer of 2023. Listed below is the line-up for the popular BOARDWALK BLAST Fireworks and Music Series. Again, our Season will run from Memorial Day (May 26th) to Labor Day (September 1st ) for a total of 15 great weeks of entertainment for all. Music will be performed at the Gazebo Stage from 6:30 – 9:30 pm with the fireworks beginning promptly at 9:00 pm.

The Main Event Band is the ultimate party band performing R&B, Soul, Beach, Country, and Funk. Their performances also include music styles from the 80's and 90's as well as your favorite songs of today. Featuring top-notch vocals, a tight rhythm section, and one of the best horn sections around, The Main Event Band offers a quality performance that is hard to rival.
Bring your chairs and dancing shoes to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk Gazebo Stage for music from 6:30- 9:30 pm and Fireworks promptly at 9:00 pm. All activities are FREE and weather-dependent.

The beach house at Alabama Ave Carolina Beach is now open for rental for the winter months. We will not do short term rentals but will do long term for winter months. October 2022 - May 2023. All utilities, yard Maintenace etc. is provided. This house is already set up with everything you need, just bring your clothes. NO PETS! Pictures are attached to our page look for the Alabama Ave. folder for pictures. If you have any questions, please contact me at 910-742-8023 Robin Owen. This is a 2 bed 1 bath home. Monthly rental is $1,500.00 this includes utilities and cable tv and internet as well. Must complete an application before any showings.

After a long and trying COVID pandemic, the Town of Carolina Beach is proud to announce the return of Fireworks and Music on the Boardwalk for the Summer of 2021. Listed below is the line-up for the popular BOARDWALK BLAST Fireworks and Music Series. Again, due to COVID, we must start our season on July 2nd, but it will run through September 30th for a total of 14 great weeks of entertainment for all. May-June EVENT CANCELLATIONS
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the North Carolina State of Emergency limits on Crowd size, the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach have to cancel all May and June events previously scheduled. This includes the first six Fireworks and Movies as well as the first two Free Summer Concerts at Ft. Fisher. These will not be rescheduled. The 35th Annual Carolina Beach Music Festival scheduled for June 6th is postponed until a later date yet to be determined. It is our hopes that we can have our iconic, signature event later in the year. Stay tuned, Wash your hands, social distance and wear a face covering when in public. Hope to see you soon!

CAROLINA BEACH LIFTS RESTRICTIONS
EFFECTIVE 5:00PM, MAY 8, 2020

Effective Friday, May 8, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., Carolina Beach will lift all Town imposed restrictions including short-term rentals, public parking, and beach activities.

Governor Roy Cooper continues to mandate other entities detailed in Executive Order No. 138. These include restaurants, bars, salons, and other retail vendors. Click on the link below to view details.

SHORT-TERM RENTAL RESTRICTIONS
EXTENDED THROUGH MAY 8, 2020

In conjunction with Governor Roy Cooper’s declaration to extend the stay-at-home order, the Town of Carolina Beach is extending current short-term rental restrictions through May 8, 2020, 5:00 p.m., or until such restrictions are rescinded or continued.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and consult with health professionals to make sure the best decisions are made for Carolina Beach. The Town encourages all individuals and business owners to adhere to CDC, Federal and State, and County guidelines regarding COVID-19, and all persons are strongly encouraged to stay close to home and follow social distancing protocols.
