***Quick Update***

Lots and people have called and texted asking about my plans….. I am hunkered down in a safe building on the third floor, in and area that did not flood during the most recent storm. I have made all of the needed preparations and have everything I need to ride this out and get back to helping people, the minute this storm passes.

Kimberly Helms Stewart and I have talked and she knows I will be safe and keep myself from harms way. I knew by leaving, it would cost me a minimum of 4 to 5 days here on the ground and these people need us, and now more than ever.

I’ll keep everyone updated as this storm rolls in and rolls out, I feel bad for the folks south of me, that will be crushed when it roars ashore.

I do have a secondary communication system in place, should we loose cell service and I’ll provide updates as soon as possible.

North Carolina for Military Employment - NC4ME are hosting a special evening of beach music and delicious food catered by Spoon Fed Kitchen, all in support of NC4ME. July 20th from 5-8pm. Every year, 20,000 service members transition out of the military through North Carolina’s installations, joining the 778,000 veterans already residing in our state. North Carolina for Military Employment (NC4ME) is dedicated to making NC the top state for military employment by leveraging existing resources and technology to help businesses hire skilled military candidates.

Join us on July 20th from 5-8pm for a special evening of beach music and delicious food, all in support of NC4ME.
