As many of you have probably heard, the no-named storm brought unexpected wind and rain to the coast yesterday. In fact, Carolina Beach received about 18 inches of rain in 12 hours; a so-called 1000 year event. As you can see, the water is receding and is also being pumped out, and the cleanup is already underway. While many businesses along the main stretch of Lake Park Blvd still have water sitting outside of them, there are several businesses already open.Carolina Beach is a very resilient place. The community is strong and we have no doubt that things will be fully back to normal in no time. #CBSTRONG
