experience may be. All fishermen are welcome! Captain Pat specializes in bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, business trips, girls’ day out trips and kids are always welcome too. Captain Pat will customize the trip to meet your expectations, weather conditions and seasons. Shell Yeah Charters offers Bay/Nearshore and Offshore fishing trips, Island Hopping, Shelling and Eco sight seeing tours. Come experience Apalachee Bay, Dog Island, St. George Island, Little St. Vincent Island and the Intercoastal Waterway/Apalachicola River. Shell Yeah Charters owns Gulf of Mexico Federal Charter Boat Reef and Pelagic Permits. These permits allow the “U Know” to fish for hire beyond the State Waters and allows adventures into the deeper Federal Waters where the BIG FISH live. Specializing in Offshore bottom fishing for Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Sharks and many other reef fish. Nearshore/Bay fishing specialties include Sheepshead, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Ruby Red Lip Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and King Fish. Captain Pat’s promise to you is that you will be yelling “Shell Yeah!” and handing out a lot of High Fives during the trip. All about the “U Know”- A Federally Permitted Charter Boat. Ride the seas on a 2017 Seafox 246 Commander 24’4” center console powered by a 2022 Suzuki 300 HP motor. Maximum speed is 47 mph with an average cruise speed of 30 mph
The U Know is equipped with updated electronics, weather satellite, safety equipment, portable toilet, custom spray curtains, wireless trolling motor, and live baitwell. The U Know is licensed for up to six passengers but Captain Pat recommends an offshore trip of up to 5 people fishing for maximum comfort. Up to 4 people fishing is best for Bay/Nearshore fishing trips. Eco tours comfortably holds 6 passengers. The Charter – Out of Carrabelle, Florida
Captain Pat/Shell Yeah Charters will meet you at the city boat ramp in Carrabelle, Florida. “Get Hooked” on the Forgotten Coast. Carrabelle is a quaint fishing town and a great place to experience fishing on the Gulf of Mexico. Shell Yeah Charters provides all fishing equipment, licenses, bait, ice, drink cooler and bottled water. Please bring along your snacks, lunch, drinks (no glass containers), sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, rain jacket/gear, and a large cooler to take home your catch. Fish cleaning available.

Thanks for your business in 2024. Let's go bend some poles in 2025. Red Grouper and Lane Snapper season just came back in for some offshore action. The inshore Speckled Seatrout bite is on fire. Sheepshead fishing gets great during the spawn starting mid February through mid April. Nearshore trips for Black Seabass and Ruby Red Lip Snapper is a fun family Adventure with lots of great fish fry fish caught. Everyone's favorite Red Snapper season should open June 1st. Fishing out of Carrabelle and St Marks River on Federally Permitted Reef and Pelagic Charter Boat.
Trips include license, bait, tackle, fuel, and bottled water. Prices are for 1-4 persons. Gratuity not included. 10-hour Offshore $1600, 8-hour Offshore $1300, 6-hour Nearshore $800, 4-hour Nearshore $600, 5-hour Inshore $600. $150 deposit books your date with balance due on trip date.

My friend Casey Smith 's English Springer Spaniel. RIP is just 8 months but already is excellent hunting and family dog. I got the fever for one now. We shot a sack full of quail and had great time watching some young bird dogs work. Joe Baxley Jr. has some great dogs and birds. If you're interested in a hunt or purchasing quail, Joe is your guy. Red Snapper season is reopening for the Gulf of Mexico Federal Charter Boat for hire. November 18 till the end of December. My available dates are December 1,7, 8, 21, and 22nd. NOAA Fisheries is going to open Red Snapper sometime this month for Federal Charter Boats. I will post some available dates when NOAA sets the date. Let's go catch some Red Snapper. Shell Yeah!

NOAA just let us know that it plans to reopen the federal for-hire red snapper season later this month. A little over 70% of the federal for-hire red snapper quota was caught during the summer season so, they plan to open the fishery back up. We don't have exact details on when it'll open or how long it will remain open yet and we promise let you know as soon as we hear.

It's always a good day when you have 2 out 3 Sons fishing with you and my son's friend from Montana visiting. We went Amberjack fishing today and kept two nice ones. The biggest one was 60 lbs and 50 inches long. It took a tag team effort on this one. Nice Gag Grouper released that was 15-20 lbs.

8-hour Shared Offshore trip today. We limited out on Red Snapper on the first stop today in 10 minutes. We had two birthday boys on the boat. Happy Birthday! Shawn hooked this nice shark and didn't tap out. The shark finally cut the line at the boat. Lane Snappers in the box for some tasty fish tacos in the near future. It was a fun day even in snotty weather conditions.
